Semi-hollow electric guitar
Made famous by many major artists such as Pete Townshend, Johnny Marr, Peter Buck of R.E.M., and The Edge of U2—in its 12-string version—the Rickenbacker 330 has gone down in history. This semi-hollow-body guitar is inextricably linked to the pop-rock sound in general and to the sound of the British Invasion of the 1960s in particular.
This RICKENBACKER Model 330 MG is an evolution of the original model, retaining most of its key features, including a maple body, a set maple and walnut neck, and a rosewood fingerboard (21 frets).
Its two Rickenbacker Hi-gain single-coil pickups deliver richer and fuller tones than the vintage “Low-output Toaster” pickups, which had a much glossier and more metallic character.
