Since the 1960s, Rickenbaker 330 series guitars have been a staple of the most famous guitarists, from The Beatles to Pete Townshend, Tom Petty, and more recently, The Edge. With its semi-hollow body construction, the 330 boasts a hybrid acoustic/electric character with a warm, full, and rich sound that's remarkable on both clean and moderately distorted tones.
The maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and 24 frets is glued to the body, promoting note sustain and a certain sonic smoothness. It is amplified by two Rickenbaker single-coil pickups, which contribute to its unique identity.
