Guitar synthesizer

Your sonic vocabulary gets a makeover The Roland GR-55 features two PCM synthesizers (with over 900 tones from Roland's current synthesizers) and COSM modeling technology to generate models of legendary guitars, basses, amplifiers and even synthesizers. By combining these technologies, you can create sounds that no one has ever heard before. Take, for example, our "Metal Synth Lead" preset, a combination of two super-fat synth sounds with an expertly saturated solid-body/humbucker guitar: it's hard to beat the brutality... Ultra-fast response Backed by decades of synth development, Roland is pleased to announce that the GR-55 is by far the fastest of the bunch. Since COSM technology doesn't have to detect pitches, this section responds instantly and follows your playing scrupulously anyway. The GR-55 detects pitch, dynamics and other fluctuations in the notes played, and immediately transfers them to the synthetic domain. Switch on, rocker! Get ready for vertical takeoff... The GR-55 contains a large number of tones, so it's ready to go as soon as you switch it on. In addition to 270 preset memories, it offers 297 user memories, which can be accessed in no time thanks to the category system. Rock, pop or any other musical genre... this monster has a more or less muscular response (your choice) to everything. Simplicity A good guitarist is not necessarily a high-tech enthusiast. That's why the GR-55 remains very user-friendly, despite all its possibilities. Its "EZ Edit" function (taken from the GT-10) and large display make it quick and easy to use. If, on the other hand, you're beginning to get a taste for the possibilities open to you, don't hesitate to dive under the hood of the GR-55 to adjust all the parameters to your liking. Packed with innovative features, the Roland GR-55 is revolutionizing the world of guitar synths. It's by far the fastest of the bunch, and the most meticulous with its new pitch-sensing technology. As for its sonic performance, you'll be amazed... Its triple generator offers virtual guitars and basses, amplifiers and extraordinary synthesizer sounds that can be used as raw material for completely new sounds. The GR-55 is packed with factory sounds for a multitude of musical genres, accessible via a handy category system. In short, it's a game-changer from top to bottom! - Revolutionary fusion of guitar synthesis with our COSM modeling technology - Up to four sound sources in parallel: 2 PCM sounds (synthesizer), COSM guitar modeling and your guitar - Extremely user-friendly, supplied with hundreds of presets for rock and pop music - Lightning-fast processing thanks to new Roland technology - Over 900 Roland-quality PCM sounds (piano, organ, strings, vintage synthesizers etc.) and incredible editing freedom.) and incredible editing freedom - COSM modeling of guitars and amps - Two types of multi-effects, plus global reverb, chorus and delay, built-in looper - USB audio player that can be foot-controlled - GR-55GK comes with GK-3 pickup
