Description
The Royer Labs R-10 is a studio ribbon microphone.
The Royer R-10 is a passive mono ribbon microphone designed for use in the studio and on stage.
It supports sound pressure levels up to 160 dB at 1 kHz.
The compact size of the R-10 and its mounting system allow flexible and discreet positioning.
The R-10's integrated windscreen provides superior protection against air blasts and plosives. It also reduces proximity effect (bass build-up during close miking) so guitar speakers and acoustic instruments can be picked up close with less bass build-up. The R-10's internally mounted ribbon transducer isolates the ribbon element from shock and vibration, increasing its durability.
