It combines hybrid lutherie (mahogany body, maple through-neck, 25.5" scale, 24-fret Ebony fingerboard) with a pair of Seymour Duncan Alt Metal Blackout humbucking pickups. The Seymour Duncan Alt Metal Blackout are formidable for producing contemporary Metal tones, with precise bass and defined yet acid-free highs. In particular, they work wonders in palm-mutes.
