A hybrid of a Music Man and an Ibanez, the SCHECTER C-5 Standard (Tobacco Burl) is a modern, versatile five-string electric bass.
With a Swamp Ash body enhanced by a Flamed Maple top, a bolt-on neck in Torrefied Maple, a Rosewood fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets and a set of Schecter Diamond Standard Soapbar pickups, it boasts an extended 35" scale for improved string dynamics and vibratory stability. The torrefaction process used on the neck stabilizes the wood molecules, making it more resistant to variations in temperature and humidity.
