Tascam CG-1000

CG-1000 is an ideal clock generator for recording studios, live sound applications and professional musicians. It synchronizes the AD / DA conversion of the entire installation, assuring perfect stability of the signal. To do this, the jitter of the external clock is reduced by means of an original circuit designed by TASCAM, which incorporates a video clock generator high performance designed with an FPGA * 2 and a phase locked loop circuit (PLL) with a discrete filter.
To ensure high precision synchronization system, Tascam has conceived the GC-1000 with a thermostatically controlled crystal oscillator, used for high precision and insensitivity to ambient temperature. Thus, the generator takes advantage of a significant deviation 0.01 PPM (part per million).

The CG-1000 is equipped with 12 word clock outputs, 4 video outputs and 2 outputs AES3 / AES11 and 2 S / PDIF outputs on the digital outputs. With this, it is very useful for audio synchronization systems / large video (as well as for other applications). Among the 12 word clock outputs, two also support the sampling frequency multiplied outputs (x2, x4 and x256), which allows use in systems with ProTools and other digital audio workstation software. Finally, the system has an external input connector accepting a 10 MHz signal to create even greater precision systems. It also has various functions, such as an analyzer for measuring the incoming signal to adapt it to the clock generator, or as the 4 presets giving the ability to save your favorite settings.

For ease of use, the CG-1000 is equipped with a screen on the side, indicating the status of your clock and a USB port for saving a report in case of error.
