The MK4 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern offered by the brand Sennheiser.
Featuring a 1" gold-plated capsule, directly inherited from the e965 and optimized for studio applications, it is the ideal choice for capturing spoken or sung vocals, acoustic guitar, guitar amps, piano, strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion.
Its metal body, elastic capsule mount, and high maximum sound pressure level make the MK 4 robust enough to handle even the most delicate recording situations, such as live stage performances.
Manufactured in Germany, the MK 4's transducer comes from the same clean rooms as all high-end Sennheiser condenser capsules.
