Spector unveils its first "multi-scale" series with the NS Dimension bass, a skilful blend of classic NS lines and more modern features with fan-shaped fretwork for unrivalled ergonomics and playing comfort!
After 45 years of history and expertise in the field of electric basses, Spector has built up an indisputable worldwide reputation, and now pushes the boundaries even further by unveiling its first "Multi Scale" bass series with fan fretting! This unconventional, fan-shaped fretwork is designed to ergonomically follow the rotation of the arm and wrist. The result is unrivalled playing comfort along the entire length of the neck, particularly when standing up. The multi-scale also makes it easier to use and play alternative, lower tunings.
The NS Dimensions basses feature a swamp ash body, topped by a beautiful poplar burr top. The comfortable through-neck is a rigid 5-piece bond of maple and wenge to conduct vibrations easily. The 24-fret fingerboard is in wenge. The dot markers on the edge of the neck are phosphorescent for easy reference in dark lighting.
The NS Dimension features a Fishman Fluence preamplification system, and the associated humbucking pickups, for rich, punchy, modern sound possibilities in all circumstances. These pickups work extremely well with both analog and digital effects, as well as sound modelers. A 3-position switch lets you select 3 different voices/tones.
Last but not least, the black fittings and meticulous craftsmanship give the NS Dimensions basses an original, elegant and modern look.
