Solid body electric bass

The SQUIER Affinity Series Active Jazz Bass (0378700585) is a modern version of the most famous solid-body electric bass. It has been designed for bassists looking for an instrument that is both traditional and modern.
Extremely comfortable, with a slim, lightweight body, it produces a wide range of tones thanks to its Squier Ceramic Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups and two-band active EQ. The body is made of Poplar, a wood species considered an alternative to Alder. Widely available and inexpensive, Poplar is therefore often used to build entry- and mid-range instruments.
