Solid body electric bass

Solid-body electric bass with passive electronics. The STERLING BY MUSIC MAN Intro Series StingRay RAY2 (AMA, Misty Green) has been designed for beginners who dream of a Music Man but don't yet have the necessary finances.
Very easy to play (38 mm nut width, contoured body, satin-finish neck varnish), the StingRay RAY2 has a flexible sound, in the spirit of a Fender© Precision Bass©. Poplar body, bolt-on neck in Maple, Amaranthus or Maple fingerboard (depending on color), double-wound passive circuit pickup(s). The fingerboard is made of Amaranthus or Purpleheart. This is a relatively rare, high-quality species from South American forests. Its high density provides extended sustain, excellent dynamics and clarity.
It can be compared to Brazilian rosewood.
