The Suhr Hedgehog is a high-end single-channel amplifier featuring a cascaded overdrive section, four voicings, and a series/parallel effects loop—all easily programmable. This amplifier offers a reimagined American sound, capable of producing an impressive variety of tones—both clean and overdriven.

Unprecedented programmability for custom tones

The flexible voicing switches are accessible via the front panel and can be saved as presets. Voicing options include an overdrive stage, two levels of deep boost, as well as mid and bright settings. Users can easily save their voicing, boost, and effects loop mode settings for instant recall using the included 4-button footswitch or a third-party MIDI controller.

Boost and Effects Loop for Versatile Sounds

A gain boost is selectable and programmable from the front panel, as is the effects loop mode, which can operate in either series or parallel mode. This flexibility adds an extra dimension to musical performances.

The Suhr Hedgehog is built at our factory in Lake Elsinore, California, USA, using a combination of printed circuit boards and point-to-point wiring. This ensures a reliable, easy-to-maintain amplifier while delivering exceptional sound.
