Electric guitar preamp
Supervised by Peter Diezel and equipped with two 12AX7 tubes, the SYNERGY Diezel VH4 Preamp Module replicates the iconic sounds of the Diezel VH4 amp, particularly those of its channel 4. A reference in the Hi-Gain Rock/Metal field (Adam Jones of Tool and James Hetfield of Metallica use it).
SYNERGY SYN-1 Single Module Tube Preamp is a professional, scalable tube preamp system that lets you integrate two-channel modules from a vast collection.
These modules reproduce to perfection the sounds of the most popular boutique amps such as Friedman, Soldano, Diezel etc. A Sag circuit has been developed in collaboration with Steven Fryette to reproduce the dynamics and natural compression of a real tube amp. The SYN1 can be connected either to a mixing/recording console via an XLR output with studio-grade speaker cabinet simulation, or to your amplifier. For optimum results, it's best to plug the SYN1 into your amp's effects loop return. In this configuration, the SYN1 replaces your amp's pre-amplification section; if you already own a speaker cabinet simulator, the SYN1's can be deactivated.
