Electric guitar preamp
Supervised by Dave Friedman himself and equipped with two 12AX7 tubes, the SYNERGY Plexi Preamp Module replicates the quintessential sounds of a classic Marshall© amp from the 60s.
As with the Plexi of the era, you can mix both channels (you had to bridge the inputs at the time), and each channel has its own gain and volume controls for optimum control of your tones.SYNERGY SYN-1 Single Module Tube Preamp is a professional, upgradeable tube pre-amp system that lets you integrate two-channel modules from a wide range of sources.
These modules reproduce to perfection the sounds of the most popular boutique amps such as Friedman, Soldano, Diezel etc. A Sag circuit has been developed in collaboration with Steven Fryette to reproduce the dynamics and natural compression of a real tube amp. The SYN1 can be connected either to a mixing/recording console via an XLR output with studio-grade speaker cabinet simulation, or to your amplifier. For optimum results, it's best to plug the SYN1 into your amp's effects loop return. In this configuration, the SYN1 replaces your amp's pre-amplification section; if you already own a speaker cabinet simulator, the SYN1's can be deactivated.
