Takamine GN77KCE NAT - natural

The TAKAMINE GN77KCE NAT is an electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar in NEX gauge (Takamine proprietary, intermediate between Dreadnought and Jumbo).
The body is made entirely of Hawaiian Koa (solid top, laminated back and sides), the neck is mahogany and the fingerboard is Laurier.
Equipped with a Takamine TP-4TD tuning system to facilitate recording on stage and in the studio, the GN77KCE is perfectly representative of the Japanese firm's identity: pleasant to play, versatile, functional, all at an attractive price. Koa is a tropical hardwood endemic to the island of Hawaii. It's a dense wood that combines the rich midrange of mahogany with the brilliance of maple. Instruments made from Koa will inevitably improve with years of use, gaining in warmth, smoothness and openness. The laurel of which the fingerboard is made is an excellent alternative to rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
