Classical guitar 4/4 size
Serie 200. Made in Mexico. The TAYLOR 214ce-N electro-acoustic classical guitar features a solid torrefied Sitka Spruce top, laminated Walnut back and sides, Neotropical Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and Expression System ES2 preamp. A comfortable, flexible and functional nylon string. From a purely acoustic point of view, a warm, dynamic nylon capable of conveying the nuances of your playing.
The Grand Auditorium (owned by Taylor since 1994) is the consensus. A hybrid between the Grand Concert (00 classical style) and the indispensable Dreadnought, it is considerably more compact than the latter, which obviously makes for more pleasant ergonomics. Its acoustic amplitude is logically less pronounced, but on the other hand its amplification is easier, with fewer feedback problems. Sitka spruce is the traditional choice for the vast majority of acoustic guitars. Thanks to a perfect balance between robustness and elasticity, Sitka generates a direct, punchy sound with impeccable articulation. In a compromise between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, Walnut has a well-balanced bass/midrange/treble frequency balance, combined with remarkable clarity. In addition to giving the wood an attractive patina, the torrefaction process improves tuning stability, sustain, clarity and resonance.
