The TAYLOR Academy 12e-N classical guitar is an electro-acoustic nylon-string Grand Concert-style guitar with an impressive price/performance ratio. Its build quality is beyond reproach, and its deep tones, impeccably balanced between generous lows and tonic highs, hit the nail on the head with the first chord. Note that the top of the body is contoured so as not to injure the right arm resting on it, a characteristic of top-of-the-range guitars! Solid Lutz spruce top, laminated walnut back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard.
Native to the northwestern part of North America, Lutz Spruce offers characteristics close to those of the famous Adirondack Spuce, with superior volume, projection and richness. The integrated ES-B pre-amp system incorporates elements of the ES-2 and a digital chromatic tuner.
