Vocal microphones

The EP-2350 MIC FX is a portable effects microphone designed for live performance and content creation: it combines vocal recording, built-in vocal effects, and sample triggering in a single device. If you’re an MC, live performer, or content creator looking to enhance your voice or trigger sounds without having to carry an extra sampler, effects pedal, or editing software, this is exactly the kind of gear you need.

Key Features

  • 4 built-in vocal effects: transform your voice on the fly, during your set or stream, without an external effects pedal or separate editing software
  • 4 built-in triggerable samples: Add jingles, stingers, or sound effects to your performance without a separate sampler or third-party app
  • Replaceable samples: Load your own sounds (brand jingles, signature effects, audio clips) in place of the factory samples
  • Customizable effect presets via JSON file: Go beyond the factory settings if you’re comfortable editing a text file (no dedicated graphics application is required for this)
  • Compatible with the Teenage Engineering EP Series and most sound systems: plug directly into your existing equipment—no need for an additional audio interface

Vocal effects and samples: transform your voice and trigger sounds all in one device

Whether you’re on stage as an MC or recording content, you can switch between 4 vocal effects and trigger 4 samples directly from the mic. In practical terms, you no longer need to juggle effects software, a separate sampler, and your usual mic: everything is centralized in one place, which simplifies your setup before a live performance or a shoot.

Customization via JSON: Go Beyond the Factory Presets

You can easily replace the samples with your own files, which is handy if you want a brand jingle or a signature effect specific to your show or channel. The effect presets, on the other hand, can be customized via a JSON file (a structured text file format that can be edited directly, without a dedicated graphical interface). This is a real plus if you want fine-grained control over your effects, but you need to be comfortable editing this type of file: it’s not a three-click adjustment in an app.

EP Series and PA System Compatibility: Direct Connection

The EP-2350 MIC FX connects directly to Teenage Engineering EP Series setups as well as most PA systems. For you, that means quick setup before a set or a shoot, with no need for additional interfacing hardware.
