The result of a collaboration with Lazy J, the THORPYFX The J Lazy J20 Amp Simulator pedal reproduces the rich, complex and responsive tones of the Lazy J20 amplifier (itself a reinterpretation of the Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe).

Constructed from premium-grade components (1% metal resistors, WIMA and Panasonic capacitors, gold-plated PCBs...) and more specifically a high-performance transformer, The J possesses an authentic tube amp temperament: dynamics, compression, amplitude... all the subtleties of your playing.
Two channels and highly efficient controls give the machine great flexibility. You can adjust textures with a two-position selector that lets you opt for a 12AX7 or 12AY7 sound.
Supply control simulates variations in amplifier power supply. Depending on the setting, you'll get a clear, defined sound or a vintage-style overdrive through all the intermediaries. The ThorpyFX The J will enhance your amp's clean channel beautifully, and can also be combined with other saturation pedals.
