Electric guitar preamp in rack
Following in the footsteps of the popular Tone King Imperial Imperial Preamp of 2025, with the typically British tones of the Tone King Royalist MKIII amplifier, here's the TONE KING Royalist Preamp. Still equipped with three preamplifier tubes fed by a high-voltage circuit, it reproduces with the utmost veracity the tones of the legendary models from the golden age of British amplification: the JTM45, the Plexi and the Super Lead.
The "Zero Watt Power Amp" circuit architecture guarantees authentic tube amp responsiveness, and optimal interaction with your guitar pickups and effects. Two separate channels with independent controls let you select one of three modes (1964, 1967, 1970), and adjust gain, EQ and volume with great precision. Two reverb and tremolo circuits, also with individual settings, enhance your sounds.
A built-in low-latency IR speaker cabinet simulation interface enables high-quality capture to a mixing console, computer or headphones (can be connected directly to the Imperial Preamp's stereo output). Each channel offers a choice of three IRs, and up to 128 presets can be instantly recorded and recalled using an external MIDI controller.
