Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
Michael Landau has been using Vemuram processors for around a decade (Jan Ray Overdrive, Daiya, Shingo). The development of the VEMURAM Michael Landau Butter Machine Distortion was thus logically overseen by the famous American guitarist. Countless prototypes were tested, requiring over two years of research and development.
Feedback from Michael, who put them to the test in the studio and on stage throughout this period, led to the result the artist had in mind.
Inspired by Landau's beloved Ibanez SD9, the Butter Machine Distortion is an improved version with more moderate, natural compression and less raspy highs. The two trimpot controls, "Sparkle" and "Low-Mid", let you fine-tune tones in a very subtle and complex way. The Butter Machine's saturations are exceptionally dynamic, responsive, open and natural, with superb musicality.
