Electric guitar preamp
The VICTORY V4 The Countess pedal is a 4-tube electric guitar pre-amp that lets you add two channels to your setup.
With a traditional amp, pedalboard or recording system, you can connect the Kraken directly upstream of your gear, or use the 4-cable method and your amp's effects loop (to hide the amp's pre-amp while taking advantage of the power section).
The V4 The Countess reproduces the clean tones and overdrive of the Victory The Countess amp developed in collaboration with Guthrie Govan, and features 3-band EQ, a 3-position Bright switch, and 4 potentiometers to adjust volume and gain separately for both channels.
Remote channel control via dedicated footswitch input.
The signal is processed entirely by the 4 tubes (3 NOS CV4014* pentodes smaller than traditional 12AX7/ECC83s, + 1 EC900 triode), a first for a saturation pedal!
Operates with an included 12V power supply * produced between 1953 and 1981 by the English firm Mullard, notably for military applications.
