Compressor, sustain & noise gate effect pedal

Compatible with a variety of instruments and line-level signals, the compact VONGON Paragraphs II Resonant Lowpass Filter With Stereo Modulators is an analog lowpass filter that doubles as an envelope filter. The Paragraphs II features stereo inputs and outputs.

The circuit is built around the same filter as the Vongon Replay Synthetiser, offering remarkably precise control of harmonic content. This low-pass filter excels at adding character to saturated, distorted, fuzzy and harmonically complex signals. It also improves the signal-to-noise ratio, ensuring a crystal-clear sound.

The bipolar envelope generator can open or close the filter based on the dynamics of your playing, processing the right and left inputs separately to create a complex stereo field. With rise/fall controls ranging from 5 milliseconds to 4 seconds, you can generate precise, percussive accents as well as subtle, progressive modulations. In follower mode, you can process the filtered frequency according to your playing volume, to generate dynamic ducking or auto-wah effects. Further sonic options are available via Trigger or Cycle modes The LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) operates 180° out-of-phase between left and right channels, creating a natural expansion effect. With a sine wave from 0.1Hz to 100Hz or random modulation, you can produce a discrete or radical tremolo or ring modulation effect. You can adjust the input level to optimize the Paragraphs II's performance according to your instrument or audio source. The CV/EXP input lets you modulate the cutoff frequency parameter from an expression pedal or other control system. The MIDI input lets you control all pedal parameters and access the nine on-board presets.

Vongon is an American company founded in 2020 in Oakland, California by Ryan McGill. Each processor is handcrafted with the utmost care.
