Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
The original Ibanez® Tube Screamer® 808 and TS9 are the most widely reproduced circuits by various manufacturers. The TS10 produced later (from 1986 to 1990) has nevertheless always been Brian Wampler's (and John Mayer's) favorite. It's this version that he's chosen to reinterpret with the WAMPLER Moxie Overdrive. Versatile, wonderfully rich and warm, with a little extra bite, the Moxie features two selectors for even greater flexibility. The Voice switch adds clarity by modifying the entire frequency balance (more transparency while retaining a robust sound). The Fat switch expands the gain level with a custom clipping stage reminiscent of a tube amplifier.
