Yamaha Revstar RSP20B 60th Anniversary - noble black burst

Made in Japan by craftsmen at the peak of their art, the YAMAHA Revstar RSP20B 60th Anniversary celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of the famous brand. It's a "chambered" solid body electric guitar featuring a two-piece mahogany body with figured maple top, a set neck made of three pieces of mahogany with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (scale 24.75"), custom humbucking pickups with AlNiCo V magnets and a push/pull tone control that activates a passive boost (generates an effect identical to that obtained with over-wound pickups: more present highs, denser mids and lows). Adorned with a superb Noble Black Burst finish and gold hardware, augmented by a Bigsby-type vibrato, the RSP20B 60th can be considered a collector's item. But above all, it is a high-quality instrument at the crossroads between tradition and modernity.

Introduced in 2015, the Revstar series has won over musicians with instruments combining the firm's expertise in electric guitars, and the motorcycle engineering and design of the Yamaha Motor Co. department. All Revstar models feature chambered bodies whose characteristics have been developed according to Yamaha's proprietary Acoustic Design process. Using sophisticated measurement and modeling tools, this technology optimizes the resonance of the instrument, while reducing its weight and improving ergonomics and playing comfort.
