Features

A GHS keyboard for learning in the right conditions

The GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keyboard reproduces the feel of an acoustic piano, with keys that are heavier in the bass and lighter in the treble. This progressive response encourages the development of a good technique, providing a solid foundation from the very first years of learning.

The authentic sound of the Yamaha CFX concert piano

The YDP-S36 features sampling from the renowned Yamaha CFX. You'll enjoy a rich, balanced and detailed sound that faithfully reproduces the nuances of your playing. This sound quality makes every work session more enjoyable and motivating.

192-note polyphony for greater fluidity

Thanks to its 192-note polyphony, the piano accurately reproduces complex chords, fast passages and the use of the forte pedal. Notes remain perfectly defined, even when pieces become more demanding.

Natural resonance with VRM Lite

VRM Lite technology recreates the resonances produced by the strings and body of an acoustic piano. The result is livelier and more realistic, with a harmonic richness that naturally accompanies your performance.

Integrated Bluetooth Audio and MIDI

Easily connect your smartphone or tablet to listen to your music directly through the piano's speakers. Bluetooth MIDI also lets you use learning, score-reading or music-making applications without a wired connection.

Pedagogical functions for easier progress

The YDP-S36 includes classic songs, teaching exercises, a two-track recorder and Dual and Duo modes. These features make learning easier, track progress and make work sessions more interactive.

Compact design for the home

With its sleek lines and small footprint, the YDP-S36 fits neatly into any living room, bedroom or office. Its contemporary aesthetic allows you to enjoy a real piano without monopolizing available space.
