Digital mixing desk
Allen & Heath SQ6+ is a digital mixing console designed for sound engineers, contractors and AV installations looking for power, flexibility and speed of use. Thanks to the XCVI 96 kHz FPGA engine inherited from dLive systems, it offers high-resolution audio processing with extremely low latency. Its new design, 9" touchscreen and numerous mixing options make it particularly well-suited to live, broadcast and scalable professional configurations. Compact yet comprehensive, it's an excellent choice for touring, venues and demanding performances.
Features
Ultra-fast 96 kHz XCVI FPGA engine
The SQ6+ uses the XCVI processor developed by Allen & Heath for its high-end dLive consoles. This architecture guarantees precise audio processing with a latency of less than 0.7 ms. You benefit from a more natural, more dynamic and perfectly coherent mix, particularly useful for concerts, recordings or complex audiovisual events.
48 channels and 12 flexible stereo mixes
The console manages up to 48 inputs and 36 outputs, with 12 stereo mixes configurable as auxiliaries or groups. This flexibility makes it easy to manage in-ear monitors, sub-groups and multi-stage configurations without adding extra hardware. It's easily adapted to modern live productions.
New 9-inch touchscreen interface
The SQ6+ boasts a 9" capacitive touchscreen, combined with a redesigned graphical interface to speed up operation. Channels can be freely organized with custom names and colors to enhance legibility during the mix. Assignable keys and physical controls also provide quick access to essential functions.
Integrated DEEP plug-ins and RackUltra FX effects
The console supports Allen & Heath DEEP processing and several integrated stereo effects engines. You have direct access to compressors, preamps, reverbs, delays and advanced processing without the need for an external computer or added latency. This integration simplifies setups while enhancing the quality of audio processing.
Scalable Dante and Waves connectivity
Thanks to the SLink and I/O ports, the SQ6+ can accommodate Dante or Waves cards and easily connect to Allen & Heath digital stageboxes. You can expand your system according to the needs of the project, while maintaining perfect compatibility with existing professional infrastructures.
Integrated multitrack recording
The SQ-Drive system allows you to record a concert in stereo or multitrack directly to a USB stick or external hard disk without a computer. The console also functions as a 32x32, 96 kHz USB audio interface for DAWs, virtual soundboards or playbacks. This versatility greatly simplifies mobile performances.
Integrated automatic microphone mixer
The integrated AMM makes it easy to set up multiple microphones, such as for conferences, round tables or TV shows. As processing is directly integrated into the console, no external DSP is required, and no additional latency is added. You get a cleaner, more intelligible result fast.
