Description

The Antelope Edge Go is a USB condenser microphone for Studio.

Built to Antelope's exact specifications, with the same dual-diaphragm capsules as the Edge Duo condenser microphone, the Edge Go uses a USB-C output to record directly into your computer without the need for an external preamp, console or audio interface.
Edge Go features transparent A/D conversion up to 192kHz/24bits, a resolution far superior to other USB microphones.
In the world of professional audio, Antelope is known as a manufacturer of high-end analog-to-digital converters and ultra-precise clocks used in world-renowned recording studios and broadcast providers. The Edge Go builds on this impressive experience to bring you Antelope sound quality in a USB microphone to take anywhere.
The Antelope Edge Go microphone includes a software control panel that allows you to instantly listen to and compare 11 carefully reproduced microphone emulations.
They're all modeled after classic studio mics you've heard on thousands of hit recordings: warm-sounding tube mics like the Tokyo 800T, Berlin 49T, Berlin 67 and Vienna 12; condenser mics with FET electronics for accurate sound like the Berlin 87, Berlin M103, Berlin 47 FT and Vienna 414; and smooth-sounding ribbon mics like the Sacramento 121R and Oxford 4038. Choose the mic you want to hear and the directionality you want to use: omnidirectional, cardioid, figure-of-eight bi-directional, and all positions in between. Antelope software emulations meticulously reproduce the character of each of these legendary microphones and really give you access to an incredible collection. You can also record with the Edge Go microphone without emulation enabled for transparent, neutral condenser microphone sound from 20 to 20kHz.
Antelope's software magic isn't limited to microphone modeling. Edge Go also gives you access to a fantastic collection of 22 effects that replicate classic studio machines, including classic mic preamps, dynamics processors (limiters, compressors, gate, expander), de-esser, EQs, and the Antelope AuraVerb with 6 reverb types to help you create the right ambience from the barely perceptible atmosphere to the longest echoes. There's even a tape recorder to give your recordings an original vintage color.
