Controller-keyboard

The KeyStep mk2 is a compact controller-sequencer designed for stage and studio, from Arturia.

Featuring a 32-key Slimkey keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, it combines playability, creative tools (arpeggiator, sequencer, Mutate, Chord and Scale) and full MIDI/CV connectivity in an ultra-slim, robust chassis.

Playability

The KeyStep mk2 offers exceptional expressiveness thanks to its 32-key Slimkey keyboard, which is sensitive to velocity and aftertouch. Touch-sensitive pitch and modulation strips ensure fluid, real-time control, while Chord and Scale modes facilitate rapid exploration of new musical ideas.

Idea machine

Much more than just a controller, KeyStep mk2 is a true idea machine. Its polyphonic step sequencer, 16-mode arpeggiator, pattern chains and creative tools like Mutate work in perfect harmony. Create a riff with the arpeggiator, turn it into a sequence, then modify it at will: generate variations, change octave, adjust note length, add rests, overlay lines and record Pitch Bend and Mod Wheel automations.

Compact design

Slim, lightweight and built for mobility, the KeyStep mk2 combines portability and power. Its sturdy, compact chassis integrates easily into any creative environment - in the studio, on stage or at the heart of a hardware setup. Its intuitive layout enhances playability and promotes seamless integration with your instruments.

Hardware connectivity

Compatible with virtually all your equipment, KeyStep mk2 offers full connectivity: MIDI USB-C, MIDI DIN, synchronization inputs/outputs, pedal input, plus four CV outputs - Pitch, Gate, Mod 1 and Mod 2. Fully configurable (velocity, aftertouch, modulation wheel, etc.), they guarantee precise, expressive communication with your synthesizers, modules and other hardware devices.
