The B173 Mk2 is a preamp offered by the Black Lion Audio brand.

Discover the B173 mkII, the most portable British 1073 preamp on the market! Equipped with Cinemag input and output transformers, identical to those in our B173 Quad, it offers a massive 70 dB of gain, a redesigned gain stage, as well as reduced noise floor for cleaner, less distorted sound .
As an added bonus, a front-mounted DI enriches the harmonics of guitars, keyboards and synthesizers, while adjustable input gain and variable output attenuation provide precise control of transformer saturation.
