Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
Featuring two channels with individual controls, the compact BLACKSTAR Dept. 10 Dual Drive is without doubt one of the best overdrive pedals you can buy. Equipped with an ECC83 triode tube, it operates at 200 V like a Class A tube amp.
Each channel offers two modes and the popular ISF equalization circuit. The flexibility of the ISF allows you to fine-tune frequency response, whether you prefer the sound of American amplifiers (precise bass and aggressive midrange) or British amplifiers (more woody, velvety temperament). The Dept. 10 Dual Drive also features the highly efficient Cab Rig impulse response circuit, which reproduces the sound and responsiveness of a "microphoned" guitar speaker cabinet with impressive realism and zero latency. You can adjust numerous parameters using the dedicated Architect software for PC/MAC. It provides you with a vast collection of cabinets and microphones that you can position as you wish. A low-latency USB interface lets you connect directly to a sound card. A highly effective way of recording authentic sounds.
