The Megabyte™ starts from the now famous Kilobyte™ with 2 lo-fi digital chips for more delay time, tap tempo, trails or true bypass and an even more extreme Havoc footswitch. All with fairly intuitive, straightforward settings. Less time browsing menus, more time playing guitar!

The Caroline Guitar team has added the features most requested by their users, while maintaining the sound quality they love so much. These include a tap tempo with 3 divisions, twice as much delay time (up to 1,200 ms) for greater fidelity, a choice between true bypass and trails (so that the effect stops after deactivation) and an even angrier Havoc footswitch, paired with the tap tempo footswitch to go with the +21dB saturation preamp and modulation for the delay section.

Finally, inside are settings for 100% dry (effect only) and maximum dynamics for the havoc/oscillation section.

Building on the Kilobyte™, the Megabyte™ uses the same structure and approach as the Meteor™ and Somersault™. While the lo-fi digital chip determines the delay, initial gain, source signal, feedback and output stage are all analog.
