Catalinbread has been conquering the "Marshall in a box" high-gain pedal concept for some time now, and now their Clean Little Secret takes the classic Marshall BB low-gain formula and gives it the necessary enhancements. Every element of this classic amp simulator has been beefed up, from the tone circuit to the output stage and beyond, to deliver just the right amount of punch.
A completely redesigned tone section gives independent treble and bass control, instead of a single global tone setting. Catalinbread has also added a few extra features to significantly increase the unit's volume level. Their designer's favorite op-amp guarantees a perfectly clean signal as long as you don't push the gain, giving you tones that border on crunch at the end of the run, while retaining subtle, still-active textures at other settings.
