Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
We said it when the Galileo was released, and now he says it himself: Brian May declared in the June 2024 issue of Guitar World in the US that there's only one pedal capable of reproducing his signature sound, and that's the Catalinbread Galileo. Although it wasn't designed in collaboration with him, hardly any other of our pedals has required as much research and development as the Galileo, and we believe that after so many years, it still comes closer to that sound than any other product on the market. To commemorate such recognition, we're launching the limited edition Red Special", inspired by Mr May's signature guitar, a must-have for doing the fandango."

Technical sheet
- for electric guitar Yes
- Overdrive Yes
- Vol: Volume of the pedal.
- Tone: While the AC30s offer Treble and Bass controls, Brian May never really cared about the bass side. The Tone setting regulates the amount of treble present in the signal, making it very useful for brightening up a dark amp or a post-Galileo distortion pedal. The Galileo's Tone setting goes far beyond the limits of a normal AC30, offering a different flavor of Vox that stands out in any mix.
- Gain: As on a real AC30, this control adjusts the amount of distortion present in the signal, from the barely saturated "jangly" sound for which the clean AC30 is known, to heartbreaking leads when pushed to the limit.
- Operates on 9V DC power supply (not supplied).
