Classical guitar 4/4 size
Following in the footsteps of the remarkable Godin© Multiac©, the CORDOBA Stage Artist (Agave Burst) is a preamplified nylon-string guitar that perfectly combines the sound and handling characteristics of a classical and a solid-body electric.
It features a solid mahogany body with acoustic chambers (38 mm thickness), a solid spruce top with a superb figured maple veneer, a mahogany set neck, and an Ebony fingerboard set with 22 frets.
The Ebony fingerboard noticeably and musically compresses the sound, a parameter that may prove interesting in certain musical contexts.
In the end, this combination of woods produces warm, rich and dynamic tones, with present mid-range frequencies and a subtle extra of definition and precision thanks to the spruce top and Ebony fingerboard. As a result, the Stage reacts remarkably well to the nuances of the musician's playing.
The Fishman Stage Pickup System, which mixes an under-saddle piezo pickup with body sensors, faithfully reproduces the Stage's natural temperament. Whether on stage or in the studio, it's easy to use thanks to three fundamental settings: pickup balance, volume and equalization.
For guitarists who love the sweet sounds of nylon-string guitars but are more familiar with the ergonomics of electrics (body thickness, neck dimensions), the Cordoba Stage Artist is undoubtedly an option to consider.
