Vintage/reissue semi-hollow body electric guitar with center block, made in Indonesia. Doubly inspired by Gibson@ ES-335@ and Les Paul@, and sublimated by its elegant Art Deco styling, the D'ANGELICO Premier DC (DAPDCBRDNS) is a traditional semi-hollow body in the best sense of the word. The combination of laminated Maple luthiery (Walnut fingerboard) and D'Angelico humbucking pickups in the tradition of the legendary P.A.F., provides warm, dynamic tones, both clear and saturated. Thanks to its center block, which limits the feedback problems inherent in hollow-bodied guitars, it can handle relatively high levels of overdrive. In a compromise between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, Walnut has a well-balanced bass/midrange/treble frequency balance, combined with remarkable clarity. Its bass is generous and precise, its midrange dense and its treble fleshy.
