The EASTMAN Double Top DT30D is a Dreadnought steel-string acoustic guitar with Sitka Spruce/Nomex/Sitka Spruce top, solid Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and nitrocellulose finish.

Double Top soundboards feature a Nomex core covered on both sides with Sitka Spruce veneer. Nomex is a composite material also used in the aeronautics industry, with a stiffness-to-weight ratio that makes it as responsive as the best Spruce.
