The EASTMAN E20P Thermo-Cure (Truetone Gloss Natural) is a remarkable compact Parlor-type steel-string acoustic guitar (scale 24.9"), with an extremely well executed all-solid-wood construction: Adirondack spruce top, rosewood body, mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard. The quality of its wood and construction make it worthy of much more expensive vintages. Superb projection, dynamic bass, present midrange, balanced treble.

Abundant in the 1930s, when it was used extensively for the soundboards of Martin guitars,"Red Spruce" or "Adirondack" Spruce (Picea Rubens) enjoys enormous popularity. Denser than common Spruce, Adirondack Spruce is exceptionally responsive. The soundboard has benefited from the "Thermo-Cure" treatment. The essences have been subjected to accelerated drying through exposure to high temperatures. The result is greater stability and better resonance.
