The Big Muff Pi® Hardware Plugin® represents a major innovation that goes beyond traditional DAW plugins by bringing the unique qualities of analog sound to digital recording. Analog hardware offers a magical warmth that digital processing can't match, which is what inspired the creation of this product. Imagine taking the world's most popular harmonic distortion/sustainer and turning it into a plugin. This plugin works like any standard DAW plugin, but with the added benefit of running recorded tracks through the analog circuitry of EHX's Big Muff Pi. Of course, it integrates seamlessly with all popular DAWs such as Pro Tools®, Ableton Live®, Cubase®, GarageBand®, Logic Pro X®, Reaper® and many others.
The Big Muff Pi® Hardware Plugin® can also be used as a standalone pedal, sharing the same circuitry as the legendary Violet Ram's Head Big Muff from 1973. This iconic pedal has marked many famous classical and solo recordings. It is known for its exceptional articulation and remarkable sustain, now enhanced to deliver a true stereo experience. Additionally, it is equipped with Tone Wicker, Tone Bypass and presets. Store up to ten presets directly on the pedal and as many as your computer can hold!
