The imposing neo-brutalist geometry contains the auditory equivalent of an angle grinder. There's no subtlety or transparency here: this belligerent yet deceptively versatile op-amp fuzz circuit can achieve over +80dB of gain with massive output volume. The Weight control adjusts a lightly resonant pre-gain high-pass filter to the input, delivering sounds ranging from tight, ripped speaker grind to bass-rich aluminum sludge. The Texture control mixes a full-wave rectified analog signal, producing a higher octave which is fed into the fuzz input. At higher settings, it creates piercing intermodulation products and bass artifacts with a synthesizer-like attack.
Finally, we've included our robust bypass switching infrastructure and surge-protected power supply, making the 0xEAE Fuzz reliable for many years of service.

- Power supply: 9V DC, 2.1 x 5.5mm center negative barrel. Current consumption when active is 120 mA. We recommend a regulated, isolated power supply rated at 200 mA minimum. The power supply input is protected against reverse polarity and overvoltage. Our pedals do not accept batteries.
