Overseen by the Gibson Custom Shop, the EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson Custom Collection Hummingbird Deluxe EC steel-string acoustic guitar (ECHBDECABGH1) is a modern, functional evolution of the original Gibson Hummingbird. With a Rosewood body and Ebony fingerboard, it produces generous, powerful and detailed tones that will appeal to contemporary musicians. Traditionally crafted from premium-grade solid woods with torrefied Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, glued Mahogany neck (V profile), Ebony fingerboard, L.R. Baggs VTC preamp. The "Thermally Aged" torrefaction process subjects the woods to accelerated drying through exposure to high temperatures. The result is greater stability and resonance.
