Epiphone Inspired By Gibson J-180 LS - ebony

Overseen by the Gibson Custom Shop, the EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson Custom Collection J-180 LS (ECJ180LSEBNH1) steel-string acoustic guitar is a beautiful reinterpretation of the original 1962 Gibson Everly Brothers.
Artists such as George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond, Keith Richards, Jimmy Page, Roger Daltrey and, more recently, Billie Joe Armstrong have all raved about this "compacted" version of the SJ-200.

Traditionally crafted from premium-grade solid woods, with torrefied spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany glued neck (V profile), Indian laurel fingerboard, L.R. Baggs VTC preamp. The "Thermally Aged" torrefaction process subjects the woods to accelerated drying through exposure to high temperatures. The Laurier of which the fingerboard is made is a high-quality alternative to Rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
