The compact FAIRFIELD CIRCUITRY 20% More Slew Limiting Distortion pedal is built around an atypical distortion circuit. A slew limiter is the source of its unique character, generating a singular low-pass filter by combining triangular wave oscillations. An interaction between the signal and the internal oscillations produces extraordinary chaotic sounds.
The SLEW parameter affects the limiter frequency, and therefore the harmonic content.
BLEND mixes the direct signal with a square/sub-octave wave to flesh out harmonics and exacerbate dynamics.
LPG is a low-pass filter with which you can fine-tune the final sound.
The D and U selectors activate sub-octaves (up to -2 octaves) or an octave higher. An internal envelope filter adjusts the dynamics of your playing, and can potentially be sent to the LPG or FEED circuits (feedback modulation), making the Fairfield Circuitry 20% More a great creative tool for musicians who like to experiment with sound.
