The FENDER American Original '70s Jazz Bass (019-0142-800) solid body electric guitar is a modern reissue of the seventies Jazz Bass, which perpetuates a fundamental model in the Fender and amplified music history.

During the '70s, the Jazz Bass changed its visual
style and inspired new playing techniques such
as Slapping, which led to creative
forms of expression. Its smooth feel and growly
midrange, tempered with a bit of treble bite, made it recording sessions icon.
The Pure Vintage ’75 Jazz Bass single-coil
pickups are as period-correct as possible, from
the enamel-coated coil wire to the cloth-covered
output wires, fiber bobbins and alnico 5 magnets.
