The FENDER California Standard Monterey (0974242521) is a seductive Orchestra Model-style steel-string acoustic guitar, combining traditional and modern characteristics, with a very pleasant feel. Laminated Sapele top, laminated Sapele back and sides, Okoume neck and Walnut fingerboard. A compromise between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, Walnut has a well-balanced bass/midrange/treble frequency balance, combined with remarkable clarity. Its bass is generous and precise, its midrange dense and its treble fleshy.
