Custom Shop & Star's Music
The Gibson Custom Shop Made To Measure (M2M) program has been around since 2013. It allows you to place an order for the Gibson of your dreams (be it a Les Paul, an SG, an ES-335, an Explorer…), which you will have precisely determined the characteristics.
It is this program that we can call on to build our own M2M models. Check out this collection on the Star’s Music website.
If you want to build your dream guitar, just contact us so that we can select a reference model together (to be chosen from a list of instruments inspired in particular by the iconic guitars of Gibson's golden age), then the different options offered by the Custom Shop (body wood/neck/fingerboard, table grade, pickups, neck profile, fittings, colors, finish, etc.).
These specifications are then sent to the Custom Shop for validation, quotation and evaluation of the delivery time. All you have to do is accept the quote and wait! Do not hesitate to contact us to find out more.

Tel shape electric guitar
Unique copy bearing the serial number R126760. Net weight (without case): 3.09 kg.
Based on the platform of a "1952 Telecaster" Base Model, the FENDER Custom Shop Time Machine 1953 Telecaster Heavy Relic Aged Nocaster Blonde #R126760 (9236080870) is a reinterpretation of the original Telecaster from the early 1950s.
Solid body electric guitar, two-piece "sort for lightweight" Ash body, bolt-on neck and quarter-sawn AA flamed Maple fingerboard (1954 U profile, narrow-tall frets, 7.25/9.5" hybrid radius), Custom Shop Hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups (neck) and Original Blackguard (bridge). Sold with Fender Custom Shop case, strap, certificate of authenticity.
The Fender Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar Precision Bass or Jazz Bass are legendary electrics that are an integral part of the history of amplified music, having amply contributed to its expansion and democratization.
The ideal would be to be the proud owner of an original from the 50s or 60s, but the price of vintage instruments is so high that it's difficult for anyone to get access to them. Concerning the Relic finish: the dealers present at NAMM 1995 were totally blown away by the level of realism of the first two Relic models that Fender presented to them that year. Despite being vintage connoisseurs, they mistook them for genuine Fender originals (a '51 Nocaster and a '56 Mary Kaye Stratocaster).
The early-aging process is now fully mastered, and accounts for the bulk of Custom Shop sales...
