Developed around a "1959 Precision Bass Base Model" matrix, this FENDER Custom Shop 1958 Precision Bass Relic Super Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst #CZ578373 (9236091112) is a flawless reproduction of a benchmark instrument, certainly the most recorded bass on countless legendary albums.
It features carefully selected woods (two-piece "sort for lightweight" Ash body, quarter-cut Maple neck and fingerboard, "'57 Soft V" neck profile) and faithful reproductions of the pickup ('57 hand-wound), bridge and tuning machines. Sold with Fender Custom Shop hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
