This FENDER Custom Shop Custom Jazz Bass Heavy Relic Aged Natural (9235001507) solid-body electric bass compiles the characteristics of original Jazz Basses from the 1960s and 1970s.
It features a two-piece "sort for lightweight" Ash body, quarter-sawn Maple neck, AAA round-lam "sort for dark" Rosewood fingerboard (radius 9.5", medium-jumbo frets) and Custom Shop Hand-wound Vintage Jazz Bass pickups. Sold with Custom Shop case, Custom Shop strap and certificate of authenticity. Fender Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass or Jazz Bass are referential, timeless. They are an integral part of the history of amplified music, having contributed amply to its expansion and democratization. Ideally, you'd like to be the proud owner of an original from the 50s or 60s, but the price of vintage examples is so high that it's difficult for anyone to get access to them.
