The FENDER Custom Shop Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Time Capsule Wide-Fade 2-Color Sunburst #XN4597 (9236091140) celebrates the platinum anniversary of a quintessential solid body electric guitar, featuring hand-picked components: resonant Ash two-piece body (musical highs, mellow mids, precise basses), quarter-sawn Maple neck and fingerboard (profile 07/54 Soft "V" based on an original July 1954 Stratocaster, hybrid radius 7.25" > 9.5" radius, Jescar medium-vintage frets), Custom Shop hand-wound '54 Strat pickups, Custom Shop hardware. The Time Capsule finish reproduces the appearance of an instrument purchased seventy years ago and stored in its hardshell case without ever being played.
