Re-imagined as only the Custom Shop can, this particularly hot FENDER Custom Shop Limited Edition Tomatillo Tele Custom Relic #R110879 (9236080855) solid body electric guitar is loaded with special features sure to inspire players. Two hand-wound Tomatillo Tele® pickups deliver sweet and spicey tone with super-lively response, with a cool-looking open-cover neck pickup that allows closer adjustment to the strings and the bridge pickup mounted at a reverse-angle for fatter highs and tighter bass.
Modified ’51 Nocaster® wiring allows dynamic pickup blending, and there’s even a retrofittable modern Fat ‘50s Tele control assembly in the accessory kit.

The two-piece select ash body wears a Relic flash-coat lacquer finish in a choice of Bleached Three-Color Sunburst, Aged Teal Green Metallic or Super Faded Aged Lake Placid Blue, all with parchment binding.
The one-piece 2A flame quartersawn maple neck has a narrow-taper 1957 “soft-V” profile, topped by a vintage compound-radius fingerboard (7.25” to 9.5”) with 21 narrow tall (6105) frets. Other premium features include reverse Nocaster bridge with Custom Shop RSD compensated brass bridge saddles for fat vintage tone with improved intonation, three-way pickup switch, single-ply parchment pickguard, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and disc string tree. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
